Remote Capture

Remote Deposit Capture, also known as Merchant Capture, provides
commercial clients with a new delivery system that reduces the amount of time devoted
to making deposits. Remote Deposit Capture gives the client the ability to
scan and transmit check images directly to their bank, thus eliminating the need to
go to the branch to make deposits.

The client simply places the check to be deposited in the scanner, which automatically captures images of the front and back. The check amount is read programmatically and the funds are deposited into the customer's account the next business day. The funds will be processed as if the customer personally made the deposit at the Bank.
