We're excited to share that Harbor Connect, The Harbor Bank of Maryland's online banking platform for personal accounts, will soon be upgraded to an enhanced digital banking experience designed to provide greater convenience, improved navigation, and a more modern look and feel starting on July 8, 2026. The migration will be complete on July 13, 2026. Personal online banking will remain accessible during this time.

The upgraded platform will continue to give you secure access to your accounts while introducing a refreshed interface that works seamlessly across desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile browsers. Your existing mobile banking app will remain available, and a mobile app enhancement is planned for late Summer 2026.

What You Can Expect
Modern, Responsive Design: The upgraded Harbor Connect features a cleaner, more intuitive experience that adapts to the device you're using, making it easier to manage your finances whenever and wherever it's convenient for you.

Easy Login Experience: You will continue to access Harbor Connect using the same website address, username, and password you use today. Enhanced authentication safeguards will remain in place to help protect your accounts. You may be asked to verify your identity with a one-time security code when logging in from an unrecognized device or location. User IDs will also become case-insensitive, and some customers may be prompted to update their username during their first login.

Simplified Navigation: The upgraded platform introduces updated menu names and navigation designed to make it easier to find the services you use most often, including:
•Accounts
•Move Money
•Documents
•Secure Messaging
•Self-Service

New and Enhanced Features

Flexible Account Views: You will be able to choose between a card-style dashboard view or a traditional list view when reviewing account information, allowing for a more personalized experience. Both views provide easy access to account balances and common account actions.

Improved Document Access: Accessing statements and managing delivery preferences will be easier through the Documents section, where you can choose how they receive account statements and notices.

Expanded Download Capabilities: You will be able to request account history downloads for extended periods, including entire tax years, with no limits on transaction volume. Large download requests can process in the background while you continue using Harbor Connect, and optional email notifications can alert you when your file is ready.

Enhanced Money Movement: The new platform continues to support internal and external transfers, bill payments, and account-to-account money movement through a centralized "Move Money" experience including Zelle online. Existing bill pay payees and scheduled payments will automatically migrate to the upgraded platform.

Self-Service Account Management: You will have convenient self-service access to manage alerts, account nicknames, and account display preferences.

Secure Messaging and Service Requests: The enhanced Secure Messaging Center will make it easier to communicate with us and submit common service requests such as address changes, change of user ID and phone number requests, travel notices, debit card requests, copies requests, and more.

Enhanced Security Remains a Top Priority
The upgraded Harbor Connect platform continues to use authentication technology designed to help keep your online banking experience secure. Customers logging in from unfamiliar devices or locations may be required to verify their identity before gaining access. Additionally, if you need to reset your password, the new password requirement is 12 characters.
